Elentra Migration FAQ

What is happening? 


Queen's is transitioning from our current on-premise implementation of Elentra to Elentra Cloud, a hosted, software as a service version of Elentra. This is an important initiative that will ultimately enhance our operational efficiency and provide an improved user experience for all members of our community. 

 

When is the migration happening? 


The migration will start the evening of Friday, August 8. It will be done by the evening of Sunday, August 10. During this time, Elentra will not be available to any users. 

 

What do I need to do? 


Bookmark the new url to start using after August 10, 2025https://queenshealthsci.elentra.cloud/ 

Once the site is live, if you have a Queen’s NetID, log in by clicking the Institutional Login button.



 

Will I still be able to access everything I currently have in Elentra after the migration? 


Yes. Please be assured that no data will be lost during this transition. All existing data, including but not limited to assessment data, learning event information and gradebook data will be securely migrated from our current version of Elentra to Elentra Cloud. 

 

How do I report issues with Elentra after the migration? 


Users can continue to report issues with Elentra or request training the same way they do now by sending an email to qhsit@queensu.ca. Our Support Services team will work with you to resolve your issue or escalate it to Elentra if required.


Is there still a mobile app?


Yes! Elentra Cloud has a mobile app. You can learn more here: https://help.elentra.com/introduction-to-elentra-mobile


After downloading the app, you'll be asked for a URL the first time you log in. Enter https://queenshealthsci.elentra.cloud/


Are there new features in Elentra that I need to know about?


There are no new features that anyone is required to use immediately. If you are a Curriculum Coordinator or Program Administrator, you'll be receiving an email about some minor changes you'll notice on some screens. No business processes require immediate change.
