Create A New Rotation Schedule

Modified on Mon, Apr 14 at 9:49 AM

To prepare for a new academic year, you'll need to build a new rotation schedule. Step one is to create a rotation schedule which acts like a folder or bucket to house all rotations for a program. Typically programs have one rotation schedule per year.

  1. Navigate to Admin > Clinical Experience
  2. Click the 'Rotation Schedule' tab under the Filter option card.
  3. Click 'New Draft'.

  4. Select a curriculum period.
  5. Select one or more programs/courses.
    1. For PG users, you will only pick one program.
  6. Provide a title (e.g., 2024-2025 Cardiology Rotation Schedule) and click 'Confirm'.
    1. Please include the academic year and a program/course in the rotation schedule title.
  7. You will return to the list of rotation schedules and should see your newly created schedule on the list. It will be in Draft status. If you don't see the new schedule you built, double check any filters you have applied (e.g. curriculum period).

Your next step is to add rotations to the new rotation schedule. See instructions at https://support.healthsci.queensu.ca/support/solutions/articles/151000084385-create-rotations
