Projectors
- There is a Panasonic remote to turn the projectors on and off. It is stored on the podium.
- Point the remote at the projector mounted on the ceiling and press power to turn the projector on.
Using the In-Room Computer
- Press any key on the keyboard to wake up the computer (labelled with a 2).
- Switch the display to use the in-room computer by pressing 2 on the Display Console.
- The in-room computer is set up to play sound through the in-room speakers.
- Adjust volume for the in-room computer from the Display Console (it is recommended that the needle be hitting red to be loud enough).
- Please DO NOT turn off the in-room computer when you are finished your class.
Using the In-Room Microphone
- There is a microphone on the podium. Turn it on and off with the power switch on the top of the unit.
- The microphone is set up to play through the in-room speakers.
- Move the microphone closer to your mouth if you need sound in the room to be louder.
- Please remember to charge the microphone battery at the end of your session. The charger is on the shelf to the right of the podium.
Using the In-Room Camera
- Switch the display to use the in-room camera by pressing 3 on the Display Console.
Connect to Teams (using in-room computer)
- The in-room computer is signed into Teams under account [email protected].
Connect to Zoom (using in-room computer)
- The in-room computer is signed into Zoom under account [email protected].
Connect Your Own Laptop
- Connect your laptop to the AV system using the HDMI cable labelled 1 on the desk.
- Turn on the in-room screens by holding down the ON button on the Display Console for 3 seconds.
- Send what you see on your laptop to the screens on both sides of the room by pressing the ‘1’ button on the Display Console.
- If you need to play audio from your laptop, ensure that your laptop is sending sound to PT-EX620 speakers.
- To adjust the volume, use the volume control on the display console.
Ending Class
- When class concludes, please turn the Display Console off using the Off button.
