Panopto & Elentra - How to Embed a Video to Elentra

To obtain an Embed code for a video from Panopto, please follow these instructions:  Panopto - Sharing a Video or Folder (Link & Embed Code)

1. Go to the Elentra learning event you wish to post the video to.

2. Once you are on the learning event page, switch to "Administrator View". 

    (Please note pictures below, the layout and style change depending on what "View" mode you are in)

2A. Once switched to "Administrator View", go to the "Content" section of the page.

3.  After switching to the  "Content" section of the page, scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see "Add a Resource"

*When adding a resource, all the setting can be changed for your needs. The settings expressed below are standard settings when posting a past lecture video.

4.  Select "Streaming Media" & Next Step (bottom left)

5. Select "After Class" (for videos to be available after the event). Select what is required for your event needs.

6. Select "No, this resource is accessible at any time".

7. Add a "Title" and "Description" to the resource (both fields are required). Then scroll down a bit to show the "Embed Code" section.

8. Paste the Embed code from Panopto in the "Embed Code" section.

9. Save the Resource.

10. After saving the resource, the Embedded video is now available in the "Event Resources" section of the Elentra event page. (Near the bottom of the page). If you are still in "Administrator View", you will need to select the "After Class" section. In the "Learner View", all resources are listed together.
